Estate planning is an important consideration for everyone. Without a Will, the State of Nevada could determine who gets your property when you die. Be sure that your property goes to the people you want it to by executing a Will and keeping it current.
If you have recently married, had a child or have been divorced, it is critical that you have your estate plan reviewed to ensure that it accomplishes what you intend and that it protects your loved ones.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
I just moved to Nevada from Arizona. When I lived in Arizona I executed a Will. Do I need a new Will now that I reside in Nevada?
Probably not. If your Will was properly executed in Arizona when you were a resident of that state, your Will will be valid in Nevada, even if the laws differ. However, if you have lost or acquired property as a result of your move, it may be time for a review of your Will.
